A #FreeHaiti Now Forum: Caribbean Pan-African Network

May 22, 2021 Written by Ezili Dantò

❤️?♥️Ézili Dantò’s Note:❤️?♥️

Hello folks,

This is Èzili. I want you to know I share the May 18 get together moment and social happiness of a traumatized and exploited people always forcefully made unhappy and in mourning by the incessant global war of White Terror against us and our Ancestors before us. I understand. However, please know, although #FreeHaiti/Èzili Network stands in solidarity with the good intentions of our peoples on the May 18 day, we do not ever “celebrate” our colonization as evidenced by the 1807 Petion(masonic-coat-of-arms)Flag, nor do we celebrate the May 18th date created, by decree, during the 1919 occupation by then U.S .puppet, colonized president, Philippe Sudre Dartiguenage… As I always emphasize: #MemwaNouPaKout. Know then that we Haitians and our allies at #FreeHaitiMovement and the Èzili Network shall, always and forever, commemorate tomorrow, on May 20th, the anniversary of the 1805 Desalin Constitution, flag, our nation’s red and black colors and its “Libète ou Lanmò” national mission and social contract. #ReMEMBER. Alaso Ayisyen Alaso.
